The Unwind dystology by Neil shusteman has the Unwind kids that we know and love (or hate), but what about the other kids that don't get there story told.
The girl that was unwind because she didn't live up to her parents' expectations.
The boy that was unwind because his parents found out he was homosexual.
The two Unwinds that fell in love but one was caught and taken to harvest camp.
Their stories are not and probably never will be told.
These will be one shots of made up kids who are Unwinds. I'll tell little snippets of their journey. Maybe it will be good and maybe it will be sad. Maybe they'll live whole or be forced to live in a divided state. They may run into the main characters of the book, or they may not. They may find love or friends or may be change forever.

That One Summer
DO NOT READ! UNDER SLOW MAJOR RECONSTRUCTION. Summer can be a beginning or an end. For Kailah, it was both. She's hated boys ever since she can remember and it was just her luck that she happens to be stuck with a best friend who just can't seem to have enough of them (boys, that is). I screwed up. I mean, really screwed up. I don't remember a time where I haven't screwed up, but this feels like I've gone past the point of no return. I've always thought that people wouldn't care. Wouldn't care if I suddenly dissappeared off the face of the earth. They wouldn't care if I was being beaten senseless on the ground. No one has ever cared, and I don't believe they ever will. Not really. Sometimes people just need a reminder. A reminder that they're worth it and that they're not alone. Some people just need a person they can trust. It seemed like college should've been the best time of his life but he was busy playing house and then Osyris got out of jail- suddenly the south side got a bit better and a lot more dangerous.
Kai's History
[Finished] This is where all the timelines from 'That Homeless Boy' series link together as a form of one single timeline from Kai's perspective. If you haven't noticed, all of my books starting with 'In Need of' are connected by the name of a boy called Kai, these books are all part of a series called 'That Homeless Boy'. In this book, you shall find his whole life written in here in only his perspective. I would advise you to read the other books first. This book just sums them all up into a nicer timeline which might clear up some questions you might have after reading the other books. The order of the books is said in their blurbs. He knew he was blushing; he could feel it. Boy, did he hate that. "I-I never sleep," his eyes darted away for a moment, "maybe I was thinking of all the ways I could bash your face in." Devyn glared at those jade eyes, his lip curling slightly. He pressed their bodies closer, his leg slipping between Lexin's. "If you think-" Devyn's words died from his lips as Lexin nearly whimpered, from both embarrassment and pleasure. Devyn's firm thigh was now pressed against his rock-hard dick, and he had no excuse as to why it was hard. The two stared at each other in a thick silence, Lexin's eyes wide and Devyn's unreadable.
