Chanel "Baby" Coleman was a widely known name. As one of the only women in the army as well as the only black woman in the army, the world has had mixed opinions on her since the beginning. A daughter to a single father of two, when Chanel heard of the army's decision to train women alongside the men for a, somewhat, reasonable pay, she signed up immediately. She made it through minority training and officer candidate school when they asked her if she wished to become a paratrooper with a few other women. Now, she's facing a new environment, a new CO, and a plethora of challenges ahead all while trying to prove that she was where she belonged. ^^^^ "To bring about change, you must not be afraid to take the first step. We will fail when we fail to try." - Rosa Parks
