And master barnaby supposedly is starting the zombie apocalypse to get at him for it.
This probably ruins the story, but come and read, I promise you won't be disappointed

The Narrowest Days
I see you're awake finally. Let me explain, I'm the overseer, and my name is Hayley, I will guide you on your journey through this time era. Your name is Lexi, you needn't know you second name as it is useless now. That girl you are staring at is you, and you don't know anything because I made sure of that." The voice of which belongs to the person known as Hayley, booms through the room with a posh accent but audibly angry... Why was she angry with me? "As of now people are dying evidently people become depressed and aggressive to one and other. They all used to live in harmony and happiness, that was until the 'things started to raise. The 'things' are as you would call it zombies but of greater skill. They disguise themselves as humans yet they will not hesitate to kill you and eat you. If someone is a 'thing', automatically presume them dead, or at least soon to be dead. It will always take about 2 weeks to become fully changed, hopefully you can chop of that body part in time for the infection to stop. If you can't, put an end to your soon to be painful and horrible turn/death. These beings as I announced only a moment ago, look exactly like a human, two way to tell if they are one or not, their attitude and their eyes. They don't have emotions, only hunger and let me tell you, they will go out of their way to eat you, they will speak but it will sound different... Deformed almost. The eyes are usually the first to become infected, they become slightly red at first, as time progresses so does the intensity of the color red in the eye. The color in their eyes they once possessed, will seem dull, it will seem as if they are unfocused or unfamiliar with their surroundings. That is all I can tell you for the moment Lexi, but know their are people waiting for your arrival, and we are waiting for you to end this suffering race." I could tell something was off putting about her voice, as if she was lying straight through her teethComplete

Mad God's Love [Dark, enemies-to-lovers BL]
All he wanted was to disappear. What he found wouldn't let him go. Humanity clings to survival in fortified cities, learning to live beside the horrors that slipped in from another plane. Monsters now walk freely among the ruins of the old civilisation. For a runaway boy scraping by on the streets, danger is nothing new. Hunted by violent men and ignored by a society too busy surviving, he's learned to trust no one. But when he crosses paths with a strange, otherworldly being - one unlike any he's seen before - his life takes a turn for the surreal. The creature is powerful, unpredictable, and completely alien in thought. It breaks boundaries as easily as bodies, and the boy wants nothing more than to be rid of it. But fate - or an unbreakable, incomprehensible will - keeps pulling them together. As tension builds and an uneasy bond begins to form, a far greater danger looms. And it's not from the monsters outside the walls. As It Was - Dean Winchester
"Willow Price." Caleb introduced me. My hair was parted in two tight french braids that held the hair away from my face. I was wearing cargo pants and a military green tank top, showing my muscular arms riddled with tattoos. I didn't move a muscle in my face when the man's dark eyes met mine. "Willow, this is John Winchester." "That's just a young girl Caleb," John told him disappointedly. Caleb shook his head. "John, I'm telling you. Willow is the best there is." "She done any tours?" He asked, noting my militarylike appearance. I bared my teeth, annoyed to be spoken over and not addressed directly. Caleb shot me a look as if knowing what went through my head. "No, but she might as well have. She has the training, the skill. She grew up in the life. Smart as the devil and tougher than nails." John Winchester stood up, showing his full size. He towered over me, and I bet that he was strong as ten men, but you know what they say; the bigger they are, the harder they fall. "You ever hunted a demon before?" He asked me, walking closer. I looked up at him, noting how he smelled like gunpowder and whiskey. He was definitely a seasoned hunter. "I'll do you one better," I smirked at his unwavering gaze. "I've killed one."
