"Y-you...you're a vampire...?" The child wiped the blood from her face, only succeeding in smearing it. She was quiet, looking away from her the teen with a grim look.
The teen, a girl that Claira was beginning to think as a friend held her limp brother in her hand. The toddler uninjured and alive but likely having passed out from his near death experience.
Claira spoke quietly, almost a whisper,"I did it to save you."

This story is about a girl named Claira, and follows her reluctant adventure through lands far from her home. She meets creatures and friends alike. All the while trying to get back to the cozy little cave she calls home.

It started as a darker version of Twilight, but I was influenced strongly by Underworld, Teen Wolf, Bitten, Vampire Diaries, and The Secret Circle. As the first of likely three novels, this is complete (but I will probably edit a hundred more times lol) and I am currently working on the second one! "Here today lies Karina Moon, daughter of Alpha of Blood Moon pack. She was beaten to the breaking point of insanity and after 2 years of search her scent was gone, as now she is declared dead." The priest chirped his words despair in the air and I listened to it from the height to the cliffs. The air was rigid and frost clung onto my skin as people thought I out of everyone was dead. I escaped the beatings after my father had gone insane, but war is leaking out because of me the biggest mistake alive. The reason is I can see parts or snippets of the future not to mention I have yet to shift nor can I ever hear my wolf again. The guilt has sunk into my heart and I have dug myself a grave for being as young as 15. Let's see how war takes it turn on me will it kill me too, or will I continue to roam this world, alone, scared, and the biggest mistake alive.
