He gets a phone call from his youngest daugther on the way home from school. She tell him she'll take the way through the forest, but promise to be careful. They say goodbye and hung up. But she never comes home. Adam report her missing. He gets another call later in the night from his husband. He tells me that Emily is in the hospital. She was found unconscious in the woods by the police. Luke says she has horrible nightmares about a man without a face. Adam and Vanessa quickly go to the hospital to be by her side. Three days later, Emily is allowed to return home. But she's not the same again. She has still nightmares and she see things that nobody else see. Adam and Luke are very worried about her. When Emily is accused of stabbing her classmate, they know they have to help her.

MC initially refused to believe in paranormal phenomena, but as time went on, inexplicable catastrophes began to occur. The faceless individual attacked Jessy, threatened Cleo's mother in a letter, and painted a red raven symbol on Richy's garage. Jake and MC continue their investigation into Hannah's disappearance because it appears that no harm has been done until Richy was attacked by the man without a face in the woods and was bleeding. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room.
