" You don't have anywhere to go either, huh"

And as if the fox could understand him the fox's head lifted in a nod, her (Noah soon figured that she was a girl) teeth slowly disappearing. Noah smiled, patting the space next to him. The fox slowly, with its guard up, sat on the bench. Noah lifted his hand above the dear fox.

"May I pat your head, Mystic"

The fox accepted her name and nodded. As Noah's hand patted her head, a strange mix of emotion overfilled his scenes. Tears gathered up, and yet he was not sad. Joyish desperation filled him of wanting to be loved, and he hugged the f- no Mystic.

"Thank you..."

Mystic nodded again, but the tip of her muzzle lifted in a heartfelt smile of joy.
