McKinley has spent most of her life abused and mistreated. Growing up her parents neglected her and were mentally abusive. Once she graduated high school she moved out and thought she found true love, but she was so wrong. The cycle of abuse just continued and because of the position her husband held it was impossible to get away from him. She was doomed. Until something happens that changes her life completely. Something most people would consider a terrible thing, may just be her saving grace. From the book... However, I am not prepared for the sight I am about to see. My eyes meet the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen and long, wavy blonde hair that I am sure many girls would envy. I can't help but notice she's curvy in all the right places. She has a killer body. But what the hell happened to her cheek? She looks like she has been beaten. She looks terrified. Oh yeah that's right it's because I have a knife.
