This take place with five different perspectives, Ember (Em), Aleasa (Lea), Alice, Skyler (Sky), and Blink. Something strange happens to them and millions of other kids on March 5 2019. They are being hunted and people are taking kids who were affected away from there no longer loving family's and know one knows were they go, or what is happening. No one cares. Blink is he oldest at 18 and is in his last year of high school at Ocean Brooke High he is a year ahead of Alice who is 17 and also attends Ocean Brooke High. At 14 Sky is the youngest. She attends The River View Academy. Aleasa Is 15 and goes to Bright Wood high school.

Or Aspen Valet had been anticipating for the day she'd turn 18 and the Council would float her for her crimes, only to find herself aboard a dropship with 99 other delinquents heading towards Earth. Tensions run high, trust is scarce, and survival is far from guaranteed.
