*Picks up 3 years after "The Break Up"*. Rachel never stands still. With finishing her BFA, giving singing lessons, and teaching dance classes, spending time with her best friend Kurt, and holding Skype sessions with her touring boyfriend, Brody, a relaxing holiday season with her boyfriend sounds like a much-need breather from life. But when Brody informs Rachel that his world tour of Guys and Dolls has been extended for three more months, her plans are dashed and she must find something new to distract her from her loneliness. That distraction comes in a small package in the form of a little boy: Aaron, a twelve-year-old neighbor who holds the key to Rachel's past— and maybe her future. Meanwhile, Kurt, single and a little scared to mingle, gets pushed out of his comfort zone when his internship turns into much, much more. . . But his bubble of safety and snark is all but obliterated when he receives an unavoidable blast from the past.
Chronically single Kurt sulkly follows his newly married best friend and brother to New York. He is giving up hope on falling in love when he notices a third year student helping the teacher in singing class. He's gorgeous with gelled back hair and the voice of an angel, but is that all it takes to fall in love?
