Shouta Kuzumiya is shy and aloof. When he was a child, he never liked to participate and he never liked to deal with people. Since this story is based on real life, I would need it to be proofed by others to make sure everything is accurate and correct if I am ever to get it published, but I have decided to upload it here for critique and opinions. This is my first ever written slice-of-life type story that was not really full of action packed scenes and fantasy monsters so it was an interesting adventure. A Troubled Life
Slice of Life story about a college girl who has had it rough growing up. With the loss of her best friend when she was at a young age, she found it extremely hard to make any new friends. She's forced herself into a quiet state, avoiding anyone else by any means necessary. But over time (where the story begins), she is approached by some new people who wish to be her friend. And Mia slowly comes out of her shell the longer she's with them, which leads her to find more friends and even a romantic interest. 11 chapters total, if anyone is reading this update here I'm sorry for the delay, I normally post all chapters at once but forgot this time. "You don't love me, you can't love me." My body shakes uncontrollably as I fall to the ground, sobbing into my hands as I try to muffle the sound desperately. "Just let me love you, I can't love you if you won't allow me to idiot," a whisper echoes through the walls as he squats down next to me, placing his hand on my back, rubbing, small, reassuring circles. ... She managed to keep in contact with one friend because their parents were friends, but she lost all contact with Hyunjin. She felt horrible for it, she cared about him the most and never got to say goodbye like she planned. After her parents kick her out to go live with her grandparents, she moves back to her hometown hoping that no one will recognize her. Hyunjin felt betrayed when Y/n left, she left without a goodbye and didn't speak a single word to him in the past four years. Without her around, he grew close to Chan's group of friends. The summer before high school started, Hyunjin and his friends matured and all the girls in school found them attractive. They fought for the boys attention but Hyunjin only thought of Y/n regardless of all the pining girls. He hated that she constantly ran through his mind, wishing he could just forget about her. As everyone walks into their 4th period, two people catch each other's gaze. One feels guilt bubble up in their stomach and the other boils with resentment.
