Ranson has cast a spell that has turned all of Ninjago back to its prehistoric period. Now, the Ninja must fight to survive in a world with dire wolves, wendigos, sabretooth tigers and the kraken, searching for their allies, The Vipers, and a way to turn everything back. 

While this is happening, Jenny is struggling to get used to the fact that she can now call Kai her boyfriend. Her insecurities are still there, even though they're taking it slow.

Similarly, Alex is also trying to get used to the fact that Jen is now dating the impulsive, arrogant fire Ninja. Let's just say that he better not break Jenny's heart, or his handsome face will become, well, less handsome.
