It all started during one of the nights after she found out her other half was cheating on her. She have been crying silently every night so no one would notice her pain. 

It was more than betrayal. She had trusted him as a person that he was faithful enough to withstand desires. She had believed that they were both strong as a couple although independant as an individual. She had decided that he was the one she would spend her life with, growing old lovingly together. And to find out that he is no longer the person she trusted and fell in love with was just...devastating.

And so she cried her sleepless nights off, only to doze off in the wee hours in the morning and function no different than a walking zombie during the day. 

No one knew she is hurt and in pain, it seems life just goes on as it had always been.

That one night though, as she finally doze off almost as the sun rises...she saw him. 

A stranger she never met, his eyes look into hers and she thought she had never seen such sad eyes before. It was as if he knew her pain, it was as if he felt her pain...his eyes never shifted from hers. 

Just when she thought of how relieved she seems to feel just looking into his eyes, his lips came close and kiss hers. Her eyes shut tight as she kiss him back. 

There was nothing sexual about the kiss, as bizarre as it might sound. 

Instead it felt as if she was healing. From all that pain she felt and all the hurtful memories holding her back. 

It felt almost as if he came to help share her pain.

And as she open her eyes once again, he did the same as their lips parted ways. She saw a tear rolled down his cheeks as she felt her own on hers.All Rights Reserved
