Over the many years of the Halo franchise, we have had the pleasure of meeting, saving, fighting alongside, and sometimes watching the final moments of many human allies, from our first spin in a Warthog on Halo to our final showdown with the Prophet of Regret on The Covenant. But did you ever wonder what happened to our comrades-in-arms(and sometimes not) after we ran off to the next section of the level, leaving them in the dust, or when we finish the mission and they don't show up in the cutscene? In this collection of short stories, we will take a look at some of these brave men and women who were left behind, and finally uncover their own stories.

Disclaimer(pls read): I DO NOT OWN HALO IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM, ALL CREDIT FOR THE UNIVERSE GOES TO BUNGIE AND 343, PLUS ALL ASSOCIATED PARTIES. Also this is a fan fiction; while I did my best to make it fit into the universe, this is not official at all. I own the characters I have created, some of the story, and that's about it; also the cover is not mine either, it's from a Halo 2 terminal(yes, this is why I changed the cover of my other Halo book). Also also, I'm just gonna say this now so don't have to later: if you don't understand or want to know more about one of the terms in this book, just search up "Halo" followed by that term, cause I'm not gonna explain every little thing about this universe. Enjoy!

*Formally Known As: My Hero is My Best Friend and a Marine (MBFFM) "People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf." -George Orwell "Mummy door!" Bentley yelled running in the kitchen from the foyer. "Is she, well lets go see" I say wiping my hands on my apron, walking to the front door. As I open the door I see a Marine standing there in his uniform with a few envelopes in his hand. "Are your Alana Kelsall?" he asks in a kind voice. Confused I reply "Yeah I am please, call me Anna." as Bentley peeks out from behind my legs. I have this really bad feeling in the pit of my stomach that I know what this is about. "I'm General R. Paul, on behalf of the United States Marine Corps, we are sorry to tell you that Captain Damon Norris was killed in the line of duty. These are for you." He says handing me the two envelopes. <3 Damon and Anna have been best friends since they were in diapers. Their families are close friends. When Damon was 18 he decided to join the forces, more specifically the Marines; following in his grandfather's footsteps. What she doesn't know is that he has loved her since he was only 13 but, was just too scared to tell her. He had only one week after basic training to see his family before being deployed to Iraq for 4 years. So they decided to spend his last week together and before his deployment; they wind up sleeping together. Resulting in her becoming pregnant. What would you do if you were told that your best friend, and the father to your children was dead? Then years later find out that he actually survived by showing up on your doorstep late in the night? ~*~*~ *Warning: there is a lot of cussing, crude remarks, the occasional sex scene, and possible triggers, don't say you weren't warned.* Co-written with: River-Elliot D. James

Back cover In the late twenty-second century Humans have reached the stars, and they are not the first. Ancient technology has literally propelled them into the galaxy, and they find themselves far from alone. Three civilisations, more advanced by millennia, rule vast areas of space by cooperating with each other as the all-powerful Citadel. There are many other, less powerful species; Humanity is forced to join their ranks, low in the pecking order. As they explore and colonise new worlds, the Systems Alliance of Humans encounter the Batarians. Skirmishes ensue, avoiding an all-out war that might draw the attention of the Citadel. On a frontier colony, tragedy strikes time and again. Growing up knowing little else, eager to avenge a mother's death at the hands of Batarians, a youngster's journey begins to "be all they can be". But that may be something other than Human - and the shadow that falls across all of the Systems Alliance may be from within as well as without. This is the story of Sam Tarot, becoming an agent of the Systems Alliance Special Operations - on a mission to defend Humanity against all enemies. --*-- Want to know more? Please comment so I know you're out there. New chapters will be coming regularly (aiming for one a month). I apologise to anyone looking for a story about Shepard or any other "canon" characters from Mass Effect, you won't find that in here. --*-- This novel is now complete, but I do intend to bring more volumes. If you're interested, feel free to comment. Hope you enjoy it.

(Warning: This story depicts subjects of violence, suicide, etc. If you aren't comfortable or are triggered by these subjects DON'T read this story! Thanks ^^) This story is based off a concept a friend of mine has, there's going to be a few fanmade characters for the story to spice it up a bit. All art are mine, I'll try to make an artwork for each chapter. I hope you guys enjoy it. Now for the story description thingy that isn't actually a full story description(?): "Be happy, Emerson. You've been looking so sad all week and we miss you being happy.". Emerson suddenly feels a bit frustrated, the sleep deprivation isn't helping, "Guys I'm seriously not sad, I'm just very tired. How come you guys are going to immediately assume my depression is getting worse? You guys always get me this all the time when you suspect it so don't play dumb.". Remington gives a dramatic sigh and Sebastian shakes his head a bit, both of them seem set on Emerson just being sad. Yes, he did give the impression he was but that's to hide the truth. "You lose sleep when your mood changes sometimes, ya know..", Sebastian states, in a very broad manner. Emerson looks down before glaring at them, "What the h-ll?! I'm not sad!". "Then what is it?", Remington asks in a rather frustrated tone. Emerson waves his hand upwards, "Don't worry about it right now, I'm not ready to talk about it.", He says. He then walks out and goes to his room, setting the box of chocolate on his nightstand. His gaze turns to his bed where Clockwork lays against his pillow. [Warning: This story has been discontinued and there will be no more updates.]

Slow burn, enemies to lovers fanfic. "Touching you was a bad idea." "The worst you've ever had." "Maybe I should stop." "If you do, I'll never forgive you." What happens when a blast from the past is the reason I get reassigned to Task Force 141? I was very clearly NOT what the men of 141 were expecting. I am not the man they thought was joining their group. Chaos ensues as we are tasked with tracking down four stolen missiles. Being teamed with these men was not what I was expecting. Especially catching the eyes of two notorious masked men.
