This is a #TeenFictionAnotherYearShortStory entry. --- Believe me, when adulting takes place, you forget your naïve little side instantly and are ready to fit yourself in the big boots. But let's say, it's too soon for Olivia Dee. For her, graduation was a ceremony, a consummation of all the misery and guilt she had had to bear, of which none whispered-and she finally had the chance to leave it all behind. But the world's twisted, right? What if...I say, she has to relive all her past memories--that nasty first kiss, to be labelled a troublemaker, to be accused of things she could never imagine ever doing? Sadly, this is not her decision to make. A day after her graduation, she wakes up to face her senior year again. She knows that she had completed her education, she spends hours yelling about it on everyone's face. But at the end, she has to go to college again with one question--how does she even return back in time? But this time, all she has to do is grapple with a recurring dream, try to eliminate all the dark spots in her senior year and find out the reason of this travel back in time. Yet one thing's for sure, she hasn't travelled back in time. I give you my word. I know. There are numerous black-outs, sudden falls, chills, drama and a whole different system of cheating, drugs, revenge and a famous Queen sister, who is, mysteriously, now not famous at all. Watch her swim and drown, as she struggles between her reality and to keep up with her past struggles again, literally. Meanwhile, there's one context she never understands: Death undoes anything. *** Credit to @cattown_graphics She is a real darling, and managed to present me this cover at a very short notice. I'm so grateful!

"How do you feel now, Morgan?" She says, more pointing something out than asking a question. She grabs hold of my wrists and tightens them. If I could see properly I could swear I see them turn purple. "I could beat you to the bone, right here, right now, till you die from your injuries. But, I won't. You will die. Maybe not today, maybe not in a month, but you will." Well, obviously I'm going to die. Humans don't live forever. "Wonder why?" "No, and I really don't care." She answers anyway. "Because we have the power, the people, and the weapons to do it. Face it, you're defenseless against us." I feel some blood flooding my mouth, so I, being a perfectly nice person, spit it in her face. That doesn't faze her at all. "I have the strength and intelligence, something you clearly don't have. Whatever y'all do to me, it won't break me. I will put up a hell of a fight before losing. I will fight, and I will win." I turn over and look at her fellow companions. "Even if I die doing it." "Is that a risk you're willing to take?" ____________________________________ 17 year old Morgan Peters is an average girl living life. Guns, revenge and buildings to bomb, what could go wrong? ✮ He came in, gun held out in front of him in one hand while the other was resting on his hip where a sharp dagger gleamed in the light. "Come on out little girl, why not make this easier for both of us. The agency you ran away from just want to have a little talk, that's all." She scoffed internally. Yeah right. Then the footsteps ceased. She peeked to the right, then to the left. Neither direction showed any sign of the intruder. She looked up in front of her and gasped, the glint of steel and smell of death as overwhelming as it was adrenaline inducing, exciting. "Boo." ✮ Murder, accidents, assassinations. Call it what you will, it's all the same, all has the same life breaking, mind shattering consequences - be it for the victim or the bystander. It had shaped Alex in a way no one should be. Broken down and rebuilt into the perfect soldier, one who had the power to change the world, to fight battles that would either make or break the carefully constructed vision we all live in. The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you. Sometimes, running head-first into a situation isn't the best idea. Instead, you gotta play a game. A deadly game where either you have all the pieces on the board, or you have nothing. The Price of Life - A Novella

10 parts Complete Mature

SOOO we obviously didn't make the deadline lol. This story is unfinished and will remain that way. This is the best example of a rushed concept with no actual plot lol. I wrote blind and hated most of what I had written. I've redesigned this concept and I'm rewriting it with a stronger concept and a laid-out plot. I will release the rewrite when it's done. I'm keeping this published so I can look back at my growth and so others can also see the transformation if they are interested. [ROUND THREE QUALIFIER] Simone's family is her life until she is called as one of the hundred winners given a chance at a new life. When Simone Moss enters the Healthy Human Dome, she is pushed into a deadly game that challenges her in every way possible. While this dark game is filled with blood, it also forces her to face her inner demons and grow in unexpected ways. "Every life you take raises the price of your own. Are you worth more than any of them?" This is my entry to the 2021 Open Novella Contest. Thank you for reading, commenting, and voting. This is my first story outside of fantasy as well as my first 3rd person story. Good or bad, I'd love to hear what you think, it'll help me grow as a writer.
