This is an FTRS Jilly (Gilly and Jax) Au where the gang is 15-16ish but the story starts a few weeks after the actual series ends.
Gilly and Jax were best friends. They had been for a while, almost two years (that's my best estimate of how long the FTRS series lasts). Ollie, Kayla, Maxine, AG, Jocelyn, Hayley, Jax and Gilly. That was the friend group. Oh, and Jack. Although he wasn't friends with all of them. In fact, him and Jax had a rivalry. Jax and Gilly were the closest. BUT they were just friends. Only it felt different now, somehow.

However, when "Prince Jaxon" is set up by his parents in an arranged marriage with a princess from a neighboring kingdom that he does not want to marry, the gang reunites to get Jax out of this new mess.
