Thesan had sworn off love. Forever. It was too painful. After his lover had died after the war, he couldn't do love again. He couldn't do the pain again.
Ryia (Ry-a) had lost everything in the war. Her parents, brother, and husband. No not her mate, but just her husband. She couldn't bear to get up let alone fall in love again.
All rights go to Sarah J Maas. I do own Ryia and any other character not named in SJM's book. I am not sure about Thesan's lover though so just gonna credit that to SJM too.

Eclipsed | Cassian | ACOTAR
The Night Court's second Shadowsinger-sharp-edged, private, powerful. A ghost in enemy territory. A whisper in the field. A snarl at the war table. Everyone joked she and Azriel should fall in love. Their shadows already had. Everyone except Cassian. Because Cassian always knew it was her-the female with quick reflexes, sharper words, and a darkness that called to his light. But he never said a word. Couldn't risk her. Until he's carrying her broken body back home, whispering truths too late. The story of a female born in shadow who learned to weaponize silence and the male who loved her loud enough to break through.Concluida

Eternal: Azriel
Eternal: (adj.) Lasting or existing forever; without end or beginning Athanasia never complained about her situation. She never felt like she had the right to. A random event leads her to befriend a small boy. A boy that she believed she would never see again. His situation was heartbreaking, she knew that there are others that are more unfortunate just like him. However, this one encounter changes everything she expected of herself, gave her freedom when the world only wants to swallow her up. --- "Why are you doing this? Why are you befriending me? Though we met five hundred years ago, why do you still bring me into your life? So much can happen in that many years but instead of staying with your friends or finding other things to do, you're with me. Why?" I ask again. Though I don't like being so forward, I can't help it. I'm scared to hurt him. He shifts his gaze to me. His hazel eyes gleam into my blue ones as if he knows something that I don't. "You're right. I had five hundred years, five hundred years to stay with my friends and five hundred years to find other hobbies." He pauses, taking in breath. "But I had five hundred years without you, we only had two weeks together. And those two weeks were the best I've ever had. That's why I want to continue them-with you, Athy." --- Disclaimer: All ACOTAR characters and plot belong to Sarah J. Maas. My characters and scenes are my own work.Concluida

However, the peace they've known thus far is almost at an end. For months, Estelle has suffered nightmares of the events that took place on Ramiel, and they are growing worse with each day that her questions remain unanswered. It is time for the mystery to be unraveled, but what will it cost to do so? There is more at stake now than either of them could have imagined. Are they facing an isolated threat, or is it possible that some ancient foe lurks within Prythian's borders, waiting for her chance to strike?
