This is the journal of all the details behind the UO universe. This will contain Background of the universe, descriptions about different races within the universe, and a bestiary of the monsters within this adventure/fantasy/horror universe that will be within the Ultiverse Online book series. Anyone can feel free to use this information to create interactive activities such as D&D campaigns, a simple world you just want to place your character in, or maybe even help build past history for this universe. It's all up to you to decide. Credit does still have to be due, of course. If you have suggestions on monsters/creatures I should add into the journal, then feel free to comment or send a message. I will ask you if you want to be credited for the idea, but I will be remixing most ideas that get sent to me so it'll mix better within the ultiverse.

L.O.V.E.
100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. A story that focuses on the lives of several individuals who are dealing with various situations and challenges from life. Their objective is seemingly to cause discord within the peace and prosperity of faunians. However, the coven's influence threatens to seep into society by breaking down the barrier that stands between them and Alpherion, which is Divinity. In this story, we follow the events surrounding our protagonist, Samantha Snowfield. As she begins her life journey within the city of Summerville as a Childcare Administrator for the Orphanage she grew up in, she begins to discover that the world around her isn't as black and white at it appeared in her youth. As she tries to navigate these events the best she knows how, she shares those moments with new friends and a potential love interest. Nothing is written in stone however, so securing a future in an unpredictable world can be challenging. The quest is to find a powerful gem in the Deep Forest, and then to use what powers it bestowed on them to delve into the Mountain Barrier. There, they will have to find the Light to dispel the growing Darkness within. Though this qest is honorable and righteous, the dangers that await them are exponentially worse than they could ever imagine. Whether they can save the world depends on whether they can survive themselves. Mature rating for blood, gore and depictions of violence. TW: mentions of drunkards and beer, mention of physical abuses, a description of trypophobia, claustrophobia, and other phobias, and descriptions of nasty cryptids. There is no depictions or allusions of sex, no f-bombs, or drug abuse. This story was started when I was in seventh grade. I finished the original when I was a senior in high school. Displeased with the finished product, I began to rewrite it here, starting June 2015, then again in 2020. I am quite satisfied with the result, and am sure this will be the final edition. This isn't the first book of the series, but there's no spoilers for 'The World is Larger than it Seems', so you can start on this one. They do not have wings, they are medium height and their species is controlled by the council. They are special powers are magic, they are usually outgoing and friendly. Angels- 100 years old, half of the population are angels. They have angel wings and are short. They are controlled by the council. They have magic swords or bows. Usually they think they are perfect and better than everyone else. Demons- 300 years old, not many of the population are demons. They have no wings and they are controlled by the council. They have real weapons that they control. They are usually rude and selfish. They like to keep to themselves. Elf- 700 year old, very few are elves. They have no wings but they have mechanical wings. They are usually short and controlled by the council. They have different weapons to protect themselves. They are very smart and can think very quickly. They usually keep to themselves, it is very rare to see them outside of their world. Robot- 900 years old, the fallen souls are robots, they cannot think of themselves, they are controlled by the council. The council tells them what to do. They have no wings or weapons.
