Old Friend

Marvin Jenkins, a narcissistic and rich noble had everything except for the face. Because of that, many avoided him. In great anger, he attempts to sacrifice his friend's souls for beauty when god intervenes and nearly banishes him to hell. His best friend Louis begs god saying he would give up his life for his friend. God listens, but curses Marvin with great misfortune in his next life. Louis loses his life and humanity in his next life, but is granted great fortune due to God's pity.
