No one knows the songs of death quite like Esper Vera. She was taught to never get attached and so she acted like the wind; cold, sometimes soothing, but never stays long enough. In the loud and sleepless town of Necrorest, there are those who listen and those who act. With Esper's mother's clock running out, she is given an opportunity to marry, but at the cost of the mysterious walls of the Ruuse Estate.

All is Fair in Love and Espionage by Sunnstar
31 parts Complete
(Completed) From the moment Alice Lark was born to a high-strung, dysfunctional family, a subconscious chunk of her brain always knew that somehow, the heavens-slurred stars of the sky would all conspire to pit her against enemies not always her own height. It turns out that these not-so-mediocre premonitions are on the verge of becoming true, more than a decade after the day her mother died in a car crash. Alice and her family (consisting of only her father at this point) have sunken into an even deeper well of depression. Her father, with a newfound mourning for the charcoal-haired beauty whose ivory skin glowed with a sticky luminescence even after she died, has reverted to a fuzzy, extreme state of alcoholism. Alice finds herself completely alone, tossed into a confusing world of classic high school and adolescence, boy crushes, annoying friends that make a tag-along of her. She always thought she had enough problems on her plate, working her knuckles to the bone to provide for her stagnant, vacant-eyed father who sits in their house clutching an olive-green bottle, day after day. But things take a turn for the worse (if that's even possible at this point) when a mysterious visitor brings unwelcome news about Sophie Lark's real cause of death. Alice is forcefully thrown into a world she does not belong in, but seems to fit into perfectly: a world of espionage and love, passion and war, mafias, guns, and danger. Before she can return to normal high school, she must avenge her mother and protect her father (and herself!) from an ever-looming death. All is fair in love and espionage. Or is it?

Seventeen year old Skylar Midnight always thought she'd been an ordinary girl; she knows exactly what to expect when it comes to a person with causalities. Going through high school without much of a second glance, she knows more than anyone else that life is hard, and sometimes it doesn't get any better. It's always been that way for her, ever since the night her mom allegedly died in a car accident when she was only four years old. After that, nothing was ever the same. She lived her life in constant wondering how different things would've been if her mom was still alive. Hoping her father was always a part of her life; Skylar never really knew what love was. But all of this starts to change when extraordinarily handsome, alarmingly mysterious, and profoundly different Derek Winters moves to town and quite literally knocks Skylar off of her feet. Realizing her family comes from a long line of immortals with special powers was enough for Skylar to open her eyes. The table in Skylar's plans start to turn and emotions start to push through the surface when she realizes she may not be as ordinary as she thought, and leaving Belmount may not be as easy as she always wanted it to be. Shocking truths are revealed; new people come to town, important plots are unleashed, betrayal and trust and loyalty start to surface, and Skylar is left wondering how to deal with it all. But what happens when she starts to fall in love with the one person she knows she shouldn't? When she creates friendships and relationships with people like no other? When her father moves to town and she's left with facing the reality that nothing is ever going to be the same? When she realizes her mom was murdered and the person that killed her won't stop until they have Skylar and all of her friends and family dead as well? Will Skylar learn to love and trust the people around her before its too late? Or will her inability to see the worst in people ruin the world and life as she knows it?

Even though their lives have flipped upside down, they still have high hopes of living out their dreams and finding the ONE to make their lives complete. When their abysmal lovers return trying to reclaim or rekindle what was lost long ago, especially since leaked videos have gone viral along with BOTH Juniper's and Min Jun's dreams now reachable, will Fate step in and help them create their own Love Language?
