         On August Fifth 2015, a tragedy struck the small town of Whispering Hollow. Six-year-old Melody Singer entered the woods near her house and never emerged. She went alone...but why? 
         Years later, her cousin, Evelyn, still can't forget what happened...and nor can she let it go. She's hunted for Melody for as long as she can remember - but what can a thirteen-year-old do that the police can't?
         Unless, of course, it isn't a matter of Evelyn finding Melody...but of Melody finding her.
         Because this is no ordinary disappearance. Someone is pulling puppet strings. A sickness sweeps an obscure population. And some people aren't who we think they are.
