Years later, her cousin, Evelyn, still can't forget what happened...and nor can she let it go. She's hunted for Melody for as long as she can remember - but what can a thirteen-year-old do that the police can't?
Unless, of course, it isn't a matter of Evelyn finding Melody...but of Melody finding her.
Because this is no ordinary disappearance. Someone is pulling puppet strings. A sickness sweeps an obscure population. And some people aren't who we think they are.

In the world called the Lively, life is literally a fairy tale, where fairies live in huts and Cinderella gets divorced by the Prince. A land of happily afters...or is it? In 2018, an adopted fairy princess Flume-Ophelia runs away from her fairy tale world, leaving her life behind. More than two years later, Flume lives a normal life in the Human World away from the consequences of evil and the tight controlling council who wishes to persecute her because of her unique ability to create fire. She spends her days as simply Ophelia, attempting to enjoy her twenties while navigating a pandemic with her roommates. After a planned visit to Neverland to visit her eternally teenaged adopted parents, the kind yet forceful tree nymph Maleficent and the grumpy Peter Pan, Flume-Ophelia discovers an evil villain stealing something valuable in the asylum prison of Wonderland, something that could potentially cause the end of the world. A nineteen-year-old Flume returns to the shattered world she once knew and is reluctantly forced to save the world. But how much will it cost her?
