Despite claiming to be the direct desendances of Salazar Slytherin himself; The Most Noble and Most Ancient House of Gaunt found themselves in a very poor lifestyle due to the past generations expensive desires. Great embarassment was put upon the family not only because of this but also because they now have a member who didn't inherit the family's magical trait; Merope Gaunt, the only female left to the House of Gaunts, is a squib. Due to this, she has been abused severly by her father and her brother, yet she didn't give up because of her hope to change her own life. She eventually met a man named Tom Riddle and fell inlove with the very noble and handsome muggle who lives in a mansion over a hill.
Merope Gaunt knew that the man she loves will never look at her the same way she will; but as we all know it, she would make ways to change this - that hopefully, Tom Riddle would finally love the woman who currently resides at the cottage down the hill.

But the storm's forecast said they'll be stuck for much longer than expected. *************** She was a squib, and she lived in the middle of the woods away from society. Her parents were purebloods, but they passed away from Dragon Pox, leaving the girl alone. She was raised away from society because her parents wanted to keep her safe from the wizarding world. Her parents raised her without magic, or if they did use magic, it was when she wasn't around or wasn't paying attention. She was oblivious to magic, because she had never seen it before. So, when a stranger arrives at her cabin in the middle of a wild storm, she was hesitant, because she had never been around anyone but her own parents before. When the forecast came through that the storm made it impossible for everyone to leave their homes, she realized she was stuck with the stranger longer than she anticipated. The stranger had an almost threatening aura around him, and that scared her slightly, but she couldn't help but feel intrigued by him.
