The barrier is down, and everyone has their happily ever after...right?
Luke has lived on the Isle of the Lost his whole life. A VK without a family, he's just been focused on surviving and helping out his best friend Reggie, who doesn't have the best home life. But on the Other Side is Auradon, and the chance for things to be so much better.
On the Other Side of the bridge is Julie, daughter of Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen. The death of her mother and a traumatic experience involving a certain princess-turned-evil has made the last few years really hard. Combined with prejudiced student body president Bobby Wilson, and the constant scorn of his younger sister Carrie, Julie's got a lot to handle. But when she and her friend Alex run into two new VKs as they're crossing the bridge, Julie doesn't know what she's getting into.
