After a face off that ended with a bullet to the shoulder, Ex-CIA agent and Perseus's former right hand man Daniel "Bell" Ellis goes into hiding in The United States, but soon realizes that the past isn't easy to outrun, but what if the past isn't what it seems? New and familiar faces show up in Bell's life including a German woman who seems to know him from somewhere else, and former colleagues looking for him for some answers. Bell now has to figure out how to outsmart the people he once considered his allies and help the woman remember where she first saw him, and avoid a KGB agent assigned to bring him back to the other side of the Wall, all while he manages to get his memories and feelings in order.
