Jackie's an Elf. But.. Her parents were killed when she was 4 years old. The King Under the mountain at the time found her, a small elf-ling, close to death all alone at the edge of Mirkwood. Taking her home he raised the Elf as one of his own along with his son, and unable to properly pronounce her elven name they called her the closest thing they could to it, Jackie. Eventually she left to return to Mirkwood and joined the guard, but always returned when she could, dozens of Mountain Kings ruled and died, but she was good friends with all of them, some even as close as brothers or fathers. This was the case with her and Thorin, as close as siblings. 
	When Thorin and his company are captured in Mirkwood it becomes harder and harder to hide her past from the dwarf hating society she now lives in, and misunderstandings with the prince arise.

Though just slightly older, they are more alike than either would have guessed. The story is almost done but I will update chapters over time. Triggering situations will be pointed out, with the concrete triggers put in a list before each chapter. Even though this story is about Legolas, there will not be any more details on the fellowship or the main story of Lord of the rings. This is story is going to be slow burning.
