Ash(ley) Ketchum, a new Trainer from Pallet Town, aims to become a world-famous Pokémon Master who travels with her starter Pokémon, Pikachu. However, her rival, Gary Oak, stands in her path and tries to belittle Ashley at every opportunity. Along with Misty, the Gym Leader of Cerulean City, who wants to become a Pokémon Master. And Brock, the former Gym Leader of Pewter City, who wishes to become a Pokémon Breeder, Ash travels around the Kanto region, while pursued by the Team Rocket Trio - Jessie, James, and Meowth.
(The Ash and Pikachu from my fanfiction are going to be females. And while I will stick to the storyline, some changes will be made. Especially for Ashley's character personality/development. For example, allowing Ash to capture Pokemon the male counterpart should have and shouldn't have been captured in the series. And Ashley to have Pokemon that I would like to have if they were real. Even though in certain cases, some Pokémon are classified as genderless, such as most Legendary Pokémon and all Mythical Pokémon. Regardless, in my story, the pokemon will have genders. None of them will be genderless. That includes some being born unisex like the Ditto and Rotom. I'm also going to evolve some of Ash's Pokemon in this fanfic that haven't evolved in the series.)

Kalos High: New Beginnings
After returning home to Pallet Town from becoming the first Champion of the Alola League, Ash Ketchum, along with his buddy Pikachu, are surprised when they are informed by Delia and Professor Oak that Ash has been invited to attend school in Kalos Region's world famous academy known as Kalos High. Ash, being his energetic self as usual, happily accepts the offer. Plenty of young and experienced trainers have been attending the school, including childhood friend and rival Gary Oak, along with Ash's previous traveling companions except Serena, whom Ash helped many years ago back in Professor Oak's summer camp, but didn't have a chance to encounter him in Kalos as she was too busy with her Pokemon Showcases. Join Ash and Pikachu as they set off towards the Kalos Region once again, where they run into old traveling companions, a new rival, and a certain honey-blonde who did not get a chance to meet Ash during his Kalos journey. The stage is yet again set for a new adventure because the journey starts today! Note: There will be a Team Flare arc at the near end of the story. Ash will be wearing his outfit from Pokemon Journeys: The Series outfit throughout the entire book while Serena will be wearing her XYZ outfit but without the ribbon(Ash will give her the ribbon as they get closer. After your 7th birthday you had to live with Ash and your Aunt Delia for a few years because your mother was on a business trip in Sinnoh but when Ash left your mother came back with a pokemon for you as a present. When Ash was in Kalos you were in Unova where you played your guitar and sang since you've had a knack for that. Everyday you always went into the middle of town where there was a crowd of people was and brought your guitar to play and sing just for fun. One day Ash decides to call home to learn you, his sister or rather his younger cousin already started her journey in Unova where he decides to visit you and introduce you to his Kalos friends.
