* Not Completed*
Hey guys! If you have read my short story book, which are a bunch of short stories that I wrote, For You is one story in that collection. But since I've had many ideas for this book, I thought, " Why not make this into a whole new book itself?" :)
So here's a little bit about the book.
Julie- Hi! My name's Julie Jackson, 16 , and I live with my older cousin Joanna. She has taken care of me ever since my mom was kidnapped and no one has found her. She is Proclaimed dead. I-I don't believe that. I know she's still out there, or she's in my heart. I miss you mom!
Joanna- Howdy y'all! I'm Joanna. Born and Raised in the south! But once I found out that my Aunt Evelynn was kidnapped/ murdered, I moved north and moved in with my little cousin Julie.
Now here's the thing. We live in a pretty sketchy town. People dying every single day, close people. Sirens, Screams, and Cries. This place ain't safe for a juvenile. I became close friends with an officer at the station. I trust him, unlike the many folks out here. Because what happened, no one ain't ever close.
A criminal mastermind makes a bold move against a wealthy client to put himself in a position to retire in comfort. He has no idea what he's up against when a young widow, desperate to make ends meet, sets her eyes on earning the bounty set on his head.

Newly widowed housewife Melody Scott needs to earn some major cash, fast. When her bright and busy children learn that a priceless ruby bracelet has been stolen and a six-figure reward is being offered, they convince her to try to do what the police, museum security, and the best private investigators have failed to do. Working against them is a notorious thief who has met people from around the world, but who has never once encountered a woman like Melody Scott. When the sweet innocence of the Scott family clashes against criminal forces more dangerous than they ever imagined, Melody is all too aware that a mom's got to do what a mom's got to do to protect her family.
The Widow, Melody Scott is a 2021 Watty Award Winner!
