PAUSED!! This story is on pause right now as I am busy with school and my other WIPs. There are big changes to the story that I am also planning that will make it so much better.

15K words so far.
Millie Daron has lived a perfectly normal life, until, that is, she learns that she's not human.  She's an alien species called the anthane, and she is part of an experiment set up by NASA. Also, the quiet kid at school knew the whole time.

Kind of like Harry Potter, Keeper of the Lost Cities, and Percy Jackson, but with aliens.

Kathleen had been imprisoned for years. She had no idea who they were or why she was there. Every day for years it had been the same thing. No talking or communicating with her captors after the first year she no longer tried. Getting beaten for making any noise at all. They didn't even speak within hearing distance of her. (if I'm including legends) Teen wolf has ended so it will mostly be intact Most of this is not cannon and some of this is cannon All of these characters are from teen wolf and the arrowverse which I don't own but Ivory belongs to me. by the way if there are spelling mistakes, I will probably already know. (especially in chapter 10, you'll see why)

To ultimately find out what happened to the last vestiges of humanity, Grant must use his wits, friendships and newfound power to navigate this new and dangerous world while an ancient, malevolent force slowly corrupts its new anthro leaders. (This story contains depictions of violence, death & murder, gore, strong language and some moderate sexual scenes. VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED) I wrote this because I was inspired by "A Man In A Beast's World" by @GhillieCamo. If you're looking for a mostly military type war story that is similar, this isn't the story for you. While the original inspiration stemmed from GhillieCamo's story, I wrote this story with the intention of creating an intense science-fiction experience, with some horror, thriller and mystery elements. If that isn't what you're looking for, you're simply in the wrong place. Though, I really think I put a lot of effort into this, so it would mean a lot to me to give it a chance. I am a huge fan of science-fiction, and this story definitely reflects that. If you like any of these: books with deep lore, furries, conflict, some romance & awkwardness, horror, robots, star trek, survival, time travel, supernatural powers and aliens, you'll probably like this story. The art in the story was created by me, so please, don't steal it. (But, let's be real, my drawing skills are basic so I don't even know why you'd even want to do that anyway) If you read the whole description, props to you. Anyways, I hope you like my story.

I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on.
