"Why do you always want to fix people? Some of us can't be fixed", the angry voice snapped at me, but I could hear the desperation clear in his voice.

"I fix people because it distracts me of how fucking broken I am myself!", I blurted out without thinking and realized that I've never admitted that to myself before.

"π–πž'𝐫𝐞 𝐚π₯π₯ π›π«π—Όπ€πžπ§, 𝐀π₯𝐒𝐜𝐞", the tattooed boy replied and slowly pulled out a pack of cigarettes from the back pocket of his skinny jeans.

"𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐑𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐚 πœπ‘πšπ«π—Ί 𝐒𝐧 𝐭𝐑𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝗼𝗼", he added only a few seconds later and his piercing green eyes never left mine as he lit the cigarette between his pink lips.

I watched in awe as he blew out the smoke and the air filled with the now familiar scent. I couldn't help but wonder if what he just said was true.

Maybe he was right and we were all broken in our own, unique and fucked-up way.

Alice's dark past caught up with her as she got kidnapped one day. She wouldn't know that her kidnapper, however, forces her to face her own demons and made her question everything she used to believe in. It didn't take Alice long to find out that things are not always what they seem at first.

That certain green-eyed boy she had all these negative feelings towards, might even be her anchor in those dark times.

She holds my eyes for one last beat, lips parted like she might say something else - something that could undo all of this, something that could make the rain stop mattering. But she doesn't. Instead, she exhales, low and unsteady, and shakes her head. "I'm sorry," she says again, softer now, like a confession. Then she turns. And that's it.

[COMPLETED] "I see you've become brave" He chuckles, his eyes dark. "I didn't have a choice," I say without a hint of emotion in my voice. His eyes stay still at me when after a certain point I look away for a moment as the situation was getting too intense. Our silent breathing filled the room as he stood there holding me to the door, his fingers digging deep in my skin. Hard but not enough to hurt. "You have to tell me what goes on in your mind when it comes to me. Why do you keep hurting me?" I look him in the eyes, questioning. He leans in making me doubt what he intended to do as I turn my head looking to my left. His forehead softly touches my temple and rests against it. For some reason, it calmed me down. I stand there not moving a bone, too scared perhaps. Slowly, he takes a few strands of hair tucking it behind my ear. I hear him take a deep breath, and slowly exhale through his mouth parting his lips. His warm breath made my skin moist as he slowly he leans further down to my ear and he touches it softly with his lips sending shivers down my body. "Trust me, you don't wanna know what goes on in my mind when it comes to you." //Grace Evans is the childhood friend of Harry Styles, a member of the world-famous band 'Affinity'. In which a boy in a bookstore finds a broken boy and they fall in love and fix each other. - - 'Tell me a story, L-lou.' Harry asked, sleepy. 'What about, love?' 'Anything. Make one up, if you like?' 'Okay,' said Louis, thinking for a second. He reached out his hand, and took Harry's in his. 'It was a warm day in September, 2008. A shorter-than-average boy with brown hair and blue eyes had just got a new job at a store that sold books. His job was boring, but he loved meeting the new customers. He was only a few days into this job when a tall boy with curly hair and headphones walked in. This tall boy was shy and barely spoke, but he had a big heart and a lot of love to give. The boy with the curly hair slowly began to trust the other, and the boy in the bookstore began to fall for him. But he was afraid, he had never had a crush on another boy before. He didn't know what people would think, and he was scared to be himself. But the younger boy, the one he had fallen for, had taught him to be brave. He had taught him to love again after getting constantly beaten down. The boy with curly hair didn't have it easy, either. So they helped each other. They built each other back up. Now, little over a month later, the boy in the bookstore is holding the hands of the broken boy as he tries to sleep. It was them against the world...' - - Contains mentions of domestic abusive, eating disorders and self harm. Read at your own risk.
