As werewolves grow, they stay quiet. Easily done for a naturally compliant-attributed species. Except for strange 15 year-old, Ruby Hanna, who had to acclimate to survive amongst her own kind. One slip-up too many led to her demise as a rogue: unofficiated, wild and alone. The progress she'd made to conform as a standard pack member lost then regressed from living in the wilderness, always in wolf form; more beast than woman. So far into the wild, it was six years until she had come across her species once again.
With her humanity being buried for so long, her emotions and interactions evolved from long-term dormancy. Her entire life shifted and her identity gradually discovered as a free woman.
