In this AU there is a soulmate system. When you turn 16 you receive a ring with your soulmates birth stone. The band corresponds to your soulmates gender and on the inside of the band the date is inscribed. For insistence someone whose soulmate identifies as non-binary with a birthday on April third would receive a bronze ring with a diamond and inscribed 3. Female equals gold and male = silver. I will try my hardest not to make this too angsty for y'all.

Okay, so this is another soulmate AU. Surprise surprise. It's the soul string AU, where everyone has a magical string tied to their ring finger. The other end of the string is tied to the ring finger of their soulmate. Every time the two people are close, their soul strings will tense up and start dragging them towards each other. When they touch for the first time, the soul string will disappear until they kiss. If your soulmate is in really really bad emotional or physical pain, your soul string shows up black; just as a little bow around your finger. This story is loosely made for the AU, but it isn't a big part of the story. The mentions of the soul strings pop up sometimes, but that's not all they talk about. Also a disclaimer: I got a little carried away sometimes and some of the stuff isn't that like kiribaku but there's moments there from the actual anime so you can skip if you want but I'd appreciate if you'd read it 😊Complete

It shows how loud your soulmate is being, If they are shouting in anger, their soulmate's arm will shake, and they'll drop whatever they are holding in their hand if it isn't in a tight grip. If your soulmate is crying it will flash with an x on it (aka when muted) this is all on your fore-arm/wrist. It shows up on your 14th birthday. Normally something magical would happen if you met your soul mate, not this time, when you're close to your soul mate you'll feel at ease sorta... When you and your soul mate find out about each other your volume icon will flash colours meaning you guys can talk to each other whenever and wherever. You either think what your going to say and they'll hear it and respond you. The sad thing is that Bakugou's soulmate is normally muted(flashing) or shouting very loud. Kirishima's soulmate is always shouting or trying not to, being the idiot he is, he has no fucking clue on who his soulmate is.Complete

Everyone has a soulmate. The only way to figure out who your soulmate is involves a certain type of currency that can only be earned by actively doing good deeds. The amount of points a person has can be seen above their head always. It only disappears once the soulmates have confronted the other. 17 year old Eijirou decided to finally spend his points after years of never truly trying to seek out his soulmate, but it comes with a great mental tole that he's not sure he can handle. Bakugou hadn't ever spent his points, and quite frankly, he didn't have very many in the first place considering that fact. This mark represents the person fate had chosen for them since they were born. Each and every mark is special, not one mark is like another. The design of the mark depends on both the soulmates eyes and quirk. The color is a exact replica of their soulmates eye color. And the shape and idea of the mark is dependent on their quirk. The amount of detail the mark has shows how good their mental health is. Say someone has a extremely breathtaking mark, absolutely stunning. Their soulmate is in mental agony. The more beautiful the mark, the more hurt their soulmate is. Not only will they have a mark connecting them to their soulmate, they can also feel each other's pain. Once both people turn 17, which can take years saying their could be a large age gap, they both can feel the physical pain something could inflict on them. Say one of them breaks their arm, the other wouldn't have a broken arm as well, they would simply be feeling the exact same amount of pain the other is feeling. It's a extremely scary part of having a soulmate since they would be able to feel if their soulmate is being beat but wouldn't be able to do anything about it.
