"Have you ever-" My voice breaks and I take a moment to bring it back. I try once more. "H-have you ever wanted something so much that you were afraid to take it?"
He nods. "Yes."
"Like, it's right there, w-waiting for you to just reach out and grab it, b-but you're so terrified of what will happen when you lose it that you never make the reach?"
"Yes," he says once more, voice digging deep down inside me.
I tilt my head up until our eyes meet, and whisper, "What did you do?..."
For awhile, he says nothing. He just stares back at me with a look so scarred and broken as the rest of him. And says, "I took it anyways.

I can't think of being a hero, or anything else for now. I need to get stronger, even stronger than my father. Wait for me mom, Kacchan, I'm coming. ~~ After that night, things only became harder for Izuku. The mental pressure was too much, to the extent that it took an unhealthy turn. Izuku could barely handle the pressure of having no one to rely on, torn between becoming a hero and being taught how to assassinate by the killer of heroes. It wasn't long before his sanity began to split. ~~ "It's okay. Honestly, you're the first person I've met who doesn't think my quirk is more suited to become a villain.." Shinsou said. After spending so much time with villains, I no longer thought of the word the same. "If you ask villains their story, you'll probably think they'd make pretty good protagonists. We always see things from the hero's perspective but we rarely ask how the villain ended up the way they are. It's been around ten minutes, but I haven't heard anything. Just then I heard a door close, probably the front door to the house or apartment. I heard slow footsteps stop in front of the door, then it slowly opened. "Good, you're awake." I couldn't see his face. "Last time I checked you weren't." He kept looking down. "It's nice to see you again," he looked up to me, revealing his face. I was shocked, "Uraraka." "Deku?" I ask. I couldn't believe it. No, it has to be a trick. Maybe Toga. Has to be. "They said you were dead." Honestly this is my first story, and I'm not sure if it's that great. But if you have some extra time, I would love for you to read and give me feedback. I could hear his voice breaking. He was yelling, but I knew it was a facade. He wasn't angry. He was worried. He was sad. He just doesn't know how to express anything else. "It's fine. Don't worry. I'm okay." He dropped my arms and stepped back a bit, looking down for a few seconds. He yelled in frustration, pushing me to the ground suddenly. I avoided eye contact. "In what world?! He punched the wall and yelled in frustration, taking a deep breath to calm himself. He paused for a few seconds before speaking again. "Get up."
