The world has changed. The living dead now roam every street in Britain. Alanah is a strong independent girl who fights for survival every single day. She, at only 16 has experienced some truely terrifying ordeals that will haunt her the rest of her life. Alanah is taken in by a group but refuses to stay as she doesn't trust them at all. This is until a certain person comes into the equation and changes things. This person changes the whole situation and leaves Alanah wondering is she really sure she wants to continue being alone in this dead world. Does she want a companion to travel the roads with her and keep her safe or will she grow to trust this group and become one of them? Or will she stick to what she knows and continue fighting alone? There's one thing for sure, nothing is as it seems in this world and anything can happen. It's all just one big roller coaster ride.
