You have been in the glade for months now. You have gotten used to your surroundings, and have finally overcome the fact that you are never leaving the glade. Teresa, the latest greenie, has been here a week now and has laid off with all the questions. (They were annoying everyone) Your best friend was Minho, but you secretly liked Newt, although you had a feeling he didn't like you back. You were helping Minho and Thomas in the Map room, Thomas left to go get some more paper, leaving you and Minho alone. "You know I can see it right?" He says, breaking the silence. "See what?" You say back, confused. "I see that you're obviously crushing on Newt" he says, still looking at his paper. "What are you talking about Min?" "Come on y/n, I'm your best friend. You can tell me" "Min, I don't know what you see but-" he cut you off. "Newt likes you too" he says now looking at you, fascinated with the conversation. "How do you know?" You say back, crossing your arms. "Because he told me"

Forrest. That's the only thing she remembers, her name. She enters The Glade like everyone else, through the metal box. She just has typical black hair and brown eyes. I was the first. I arrived in the Glade, and there was nothing and... no one. I remembered nothing about who I was, who my parents were, what happened. A few days I remembered my name, and that's it. That's all that ever came back. There were four walls surrounding me with only one exit. I wanted to go through, so I did, in hopes of finding my way out. What I found lurking on the other side was not an exit but something much worse. I found my way back, and I spent the next month fending for myself. Food, water, a temporary shelter. After a month, someone else arrived, and this person arrived with supplies. Every month a new person was sent up. Every arrival was the same as mine. They couldn't remember anything. My arm lowered from my eyes so that my vision could adjust to my surroundings. There were about fifty boys, all boys, looking down at me and Thomas in this room in the ground like we were some new animals at the zoo. They were all teenagers and young adults; some tall, some short, some white, some black. Then one of them jumped down and walked over to me holding out a hand to help me out of the Box. "Hey, you're alright." The boy said to me in a comforting tone with a British accent as he finished pulling me out and up to my feet. "Thank you." "We are never getting out of here are we," I said to my best friend without the slightest bit of hope. "Come on, Teddy. Don't think like that," he says trying to reassure me. I notice him fidgeting with his hands, knowing I'm probably right. We are both standing on the Watch tower, leaning over the railing. I look across the Glade. I study the people and my surroundings.
