The wall was broken. 

The titan slowly lowered its foot back to the ground, then it disappeared? What the hell? Titans don't disappear like that. I looked out across the wasteland surrounding the walls. Now taking notice of the hundreds of titans approaching the wall very quickly. I felt panicked, but made no motion to intervene. I saw the guards scurrying about at the top of the wall, frantically trying to figure out what to do. I watched the Titans grow nearer to the wall, and before long I watched as many entered the walls. And listened to the screams of horrified people. It reminded me of an old memory. I quickly made my resolve. 

I need to save them.

Darkness. That's all I could see. Everywhere I looked, the inky blackness engulfed my vision. I squinted, searching for any speck of light, but found nothing. "Hello?!" My shouts echoed unanswered into the void. Panic rose as the darkness pressed down. I was alone here, floating in nothingness. I racked my aching mind, trying to recall how I came to be trapped in this endless night. Then, I heard it. A voice, calling my name. It repeated like a broken record, pleading for me to wake up. Could I be...dead? Slowly, I opened my eyes, wincing as sunlight flooded in through a nearby window. Blinking, I took in my surroundings - a hospital room. I glanced right to see cabinets stocked with medicine, then left, where a familiar pair of dull gray eyes met my violet ones. Relief, care, guilt, and confusion swirled in those stormy irises. Confusion...over what I was. The question I dreaded to answer. Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert witness something horrific that one of the walls is damaged by a 60 meter giant causing breach in the wall. Smaller giants flood the city, Eren and Mikasa watch in horror as Eren's mother is eaten alive. Unable to save her, Eren vows that he will wipe out every single giant and take revenge for all of mankind.
