What's worse than being ejected, rejected, abducted, and subjected to face a strange world by one's father? For some, it means death, for others, it means a fate far worse than death. When Emeka's father throws him out because of a frivolous suspicion of his mother, his world turned upside down. This created a question mark that has come to be his identity. So he spends his entire life searching for his own meaning which always eludes. Regardless of the odds against him, he is ready to fight tooth and nail to survive. The story carefully but critically exposes not just the current realities of the deep-rooted almajiri system in northern Nigeria but several relatable experiences.
