They say there is such a thing as being safe.

Lies.
That's all it is.
Just a bunch of hopeful nonsense. 
Love can't save you.
It doesn't exist.
That's just a lie they tell children to make them think everything's okay.
They tell there children they love them.
Until they let go and you fall.
You sit there and cry looking for someone anyone.
Millions of people walk by none stopping to help.
Humans are no longer human.
We are not humane. 
Most of us don't even know what that really means.

And you expect me to believe in love?
To believe that someone cares enough to pick me back up?
That there's someone out there who will be with me every step of the way?
A little to late for that isn't it?



Tessa has just returned home after being missing for six years having to adapt to how much the world she new has changed. 
Between having the eerie feeling of being watched and trying to find out what really happened on that not so fateful day, and a boy who is trying to understand how she became this way.

As Aiden dives deeper into his fathers unknown past, he uncovers more and more details about his father's past. As he continues to dive deeper, the tension grows heavier. Through out the story, Aiden finds himself digging through old journals, trying to remember certain things. Can Aiden solve the mystery of his father's behavior and show the world the true nature of his father or will he choose to shrink down to nothing and continue to struggle?
