After a terrorist group from Verilia called the Red Crown attacked Auria's royal family, Auria lost its Empress. Verilia had to take responsibility for the group's actions. As a result, Auria sent assassins to kill Verilia's princess. The princess escaped with the rest of the royal family, and they fled to Auria, hoping that the Aurians wouldn't think to look for them in their own country.
And now, the princess who fled is revealed to be...
Marinette Dupain-Cheng!
But the time has come for her to be revealed to Verilia's public. As her coronation grows closer, Verilia's Empress regent, Tikki, invites an Aurian class over to her crowning ceremony in an attempt to reconcile to preserve both empires' economies.
