Can't Walk Away

Elliot Loch the under the radar 16 year old lives the troubled life of an isolated teen with bad grades, struggles to find any talents and has an ill mother. Unable to face his problems Elliot decides to take off and run away into downtown Miami in the Datran Area. Seeing how hard life is there he isn't sure whether he made the right choice. Meanwhile little does he know the opposite of the "Better world without me cliché" is going on. His parents find themselves unable to work, fight the moms treatment and search for Elliot. As well Elliot took all the cash money he could find to help feed himself in the streets. As pictures begin widespread, people begin to recognize him and soon police are seen more throughout. He continues this for 3 weeks. Eventually one late night, rained on mugged and hungry, Elliot decides it's time to go home and turns himself into the police. Realizing life doesn't have to be perfect, just good Elliot chooses to stay and face his problems as well as others.
