Kato is the Daughter of Frost giant Loki Laufeyson. She was sent to Midgard by her father and uncle until Asgard is safe again. Later she introduces herself to drugs. which make her anxiety and depression spike.  She gets trapped in a dimension of her mind with a hoodrat named Oryx King. together they have to survive and fight until they figure out how to get out.
and when she wakes up, she realizes none of it was real and that she was in a coma because of a drug overdose, but she overcomes her fears.

As a King, it was necessary for him to have an heir or multiple heirs. It would be easy for him to manipulate her into doing just as he pleased. He planned to take advantage of her Midgardian nature.
