Lizelle was born into a world where humans are hunted by the fallen. The general population of humans has decreased dramatically. In order to keep their existence alive. They stay in hiding and train from birth that as young adults they become gatherers to bring supplies to the colony. The world they gather from has demons and worse fallen. The fallen can only be killed from the only scars they have. The ones their wings were ripped out. Lizelle as a gatherer has to blend in and not show her only scar. The one on her wrist. Though on her first journey she happens to run into some of the fallen and her sleeve accidentally comes up. She swears the fallen angel Damon saw this, but he doesn't say anything. Could she be wrong about some of the fallen? Or is he trying to trick her?
