Chelsea Owens is a 15 year old girl in high school. She's poor but she doesn't want anyone to know. She has a crush on Nicholas Tranier aka Nick, one of the most popular guys in the school but Brittany, the queen bee of the school, I mean she puts Regina George to shame, likes Nick as well.
When the school finds out she's poor, Chelsea runs away to an abandoned 7/11 and gets kidnapped and her entire life changes.
But for better or for worse?

Summary of the first chapter

Chelsea wakes up and finds an eviction note on her and her mother's apartment door. She walks out and goes to her friends Toby Denvers, Skylar Lincoln and Savannah Brooks.

As they walk into school Chelsea tells them that she is gonna get evicted. Nick walks up to the group and decides to hang out for the day.

Skylar and Savanna encourage Chelsea to ask out Nick and she does, but what she doesn't kno w is that Brittany is listening and she pulls Chelsea aside before Nick can answer and tells her that she is going to make Chelsea's life a living nightmare.

Brittany finds out from one of Chelseas friends that Chelsea is poor and then.....
