After Hyrule rests from its 100 year battle against Calamity Ganon, Zelda decides to attend a school far away to become a scholar, in the hopes of distracting herself from the guilt she feels from her past failures. Leaving Link behind who is struggling to fully regain his memories, using becoming a chef to occupy him from his burdens as well. These two soon discover being apart was a dreadful mistake, still being unable to heal, or escape from the gruesome wounds of their past.
