Peregrine Treks designed Everest Mini Trekking to leisure travelers, who can't go to high altitude but are willing to see Mount Everest. The maximum elevation of this trek is 3790 meters and children, as well as senior citizens, can complete this trek. This is an easy and short trek in the Everest region. Normally, one week is enough to complete this trek.
Major Highlights
The major highlights of this trek is the stunning view of Himalayas including Mount Everest - world's highest mountain and Mount Ama Dablam - the beautiful mountain, Sherpa Village, exciting Mountain Flight, Lukla Airport-the world's dangerous airport, lush green valley, rhododendrons and magnolia forest, Namche Bazar - the biggest town in Everest Region.
Lukla-Airport
This Everest Mini trekking starts and ends in Lukla after 45 minutes mountain flight from Kathmandu. The trail goes up to Jorshalle along with the Dudhkoshi River via Phakding and Monjo. You need to spend one night in Phakding and next day you will be reaching Namche. You need not stay an extra day in Namche for acclimatization in this trek because of the low altitude.
Namche-Bazar
The final destination of Everest Mini Trekking is Khumjung Village; this is the Sherpa village above Namche. There is also another small village which is named as Khunde. These two Sherpa villages with stone walls separate stony meadows which have stunning views on all sides. The main place of the Kunde Village is Kunde Hospital and this hospital is maintained by the Himalayan Trust.

A day or two spent at Namche for acclimatization can be used to hike to nearby Sherpa villages like Khunde and Khumjung. The hikes will be rewarded with a chance to meet the charming people, experience the warmth of Sherpa culture, taste local cuisine, observe developmental milestones, and see the mountains from the fresh angle.
