Excerpt: It was a cold miserable summer's day in the middle of June, raindrops making deceptively loud pitter-patters as they struck the concrete surface, showering down as if they were the tears of God himself. The wind bayed like a thousand hyenas as I approached the foyer, pacing quickly through the endless halls of artificial grandeur that defined the old cathedral. Instantly recognisable by its signature faux-gothic architecture it stood as a centrepiece in the middle of downtown precisely illustrating the city council's pathetic pretension and callous disregard for the real issues relevant to the people of the city it represented.

Jesus Christ, she is losing too much blood. We are losing her and the baby... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My eyes continued to open and close as the doctor tried everything in his power to resuscitate me. I continued to stare at the hospital lights which flashed in my eyes. See I never thought I would fall for him. I never thought I would be here fighting for my life and I never thought I would lose my child. He was the last person I saw before taking what appeared to be my last and final moments. I never thought I would have to pick between fame- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Suddenly he stopped moving when he heard what appeared to be footsteps following his last and final movement. In his last moments, he thought about me. I was his first true love. As he turned around he watched as the gun was aimed directly at his head. The man who stood before him didn't appear like any ordinary man. He gave him a sinister smile as he continued to look him straight in his eyes. Who are you he asked the person? Karma he replied. This is for what you did to them because of you he might not even survive. This is for picking love over--- The person's eyes widened as he prepared himself to eject each clip into his target's head. Within a couple of minutes, the gun went off. Blood splattered everywhere. After an accident the spirit of a young man struggles to adjust, enter a handsome young man, and his world is turned upside down even more. The car screeched to a halt as the body flew over the bonnet, slamming to the ground in a sickening thud, the head slamming into the concrete and cracking upon impact. Warm red blood seeped onto the floor as the mouth gasped for breath, a bone sticking out of the chest of the young man on the ground. He gasped for air, his eyes blurred and fighting to stay open. The driver of the vehicle rushed to his side, she bent down and gasped at the sight of blood under the young man's head. Standing back up she backed up to her car, climbed in and drove away at speed, not caring about getting him help...feet ran towards the young man, and voices where heard talking to the emergency services.
