A 15 year old girl Lotus lives in a cabin with her mother out in the woods. One night on a walk she discovers another girl living amongst the trees and plants. For some reason the girl is all she can think about. She wants to know this person's story and why they have ended up in the forest and for some odd reason wants to keep her safe from the harm of the outdoors. Lotus is soft and speaks the truth, this girl has a hard exterior and seems very mysterious. Will their bond last?

The Forest
Ernwood Forest is home to people living hidden from the prying eyes of humans; the Winged and their tribes. These people stand no taller than a few centimetres off the ground, meaning that things can sometimes get a little difficult... especially when humans are involved. But life isn't all bad. For the first time ever, Azure and the tribes have a human of their own protecting them from the sinister forces beyond the edge of the trees. As the months of winter roll in, nights are growing longer and snow has settled on the leafless branches. The forest is still. The only humans anyone expects to see are the few that know of the tiny people's existence. But the tribes are not alone in the forest anymore. The abductions begin. The past awakens. And a long forgotten shadow falls over the forest. Azure and the others once again find themselves having to fight to prevent their family from being ripped apart- only this time, things are different.
