Yours Through Deceits
"He wanted revenge, but what did I ever do to you to deserve this cruelty?" Those words constantly rang in his ears, day and night, morning and evening, making him feel worse by the second. She'd given him no reason to have been rewarded with what he'd done. He deceived her. Why? Just to help his twin get his revenge? Even though it was just by a minute, he was an elder, wasn't it his duty to knock some sense into his brother's head? Instead he ruined an innocent's life. Like he wasn't suffering enough because of his doings; as if to add insult to the injury, his past comes crashing down into his mind when he learns who she was; the girl because of whom he lives today. How will he set things right? She was kind enough to look after him when he fell sick, but will she ever forgive him? Weeks pass by when he happens to discover the only, but the biggest secret of her life. He decides to make use of it to seek her forgiveness. Will it work? Will it backfire? Get in to know more! Each one of these chapters are each one of my poems. Most of them are about experiences of people, love, lust, limerence, and most importantly loss.
If It Ain't Love, Then I Don't Know What Is
Senior high school was probably one of the best moments in life, at least for certain folks. We learn the meaning of life from those periods. It only happens 3 years for the majority of people. But the moments still linger on our mind. Example? Here it goes... "They say teenage romance is awkward-but nobody said it would come with strawberry perfume, secret siblings, and a weeb girl who could read minds..." "'Are you seriously making out with your twin?!' I screamed. Dani stood frozen. Daisy ran. And somehow... this all started with candied flowers." "An absolute affection coming from absurd person? Shining Glasses included... such an irony". And many more absurdity follows... Putra, a normal student that has been dragged everywhere... This story is based on an Indonesian High School, where a male teen discovers a new perspective on affection. *Notes - Sorry for my basic, amateurish English and story telling. I'll do my best to improve. Peace.
A LOVE SONG UNSUNG
He was 23, and she was 18. They stood together in the registry office, ready to sign the papers that would officially make them husband and wife. It was a secret marriage-only his friend and his girlfriend knew about it. He signed first, then handed her the pen with a smile, but her heart raced as doubt and insecurity clouded her thoughts. Was this the right decision? What if his father found out about the marriage? Would his family accept an orphan and a maid like her as a daughter-in-law? What if, after fulfilling his desires, he grew tired of her and abandoned her? She had no one to stand up for her, no one to turn to if things went wrong. Was it true love, or was he simply lusting after her? Why would a billionaire's son want her? He could have anyone-maybe even a movie star-but he chose her. Why? Despite her fears, her love for him was genuine. Slowly, she lifted her gaze to meet his, her insecurities weighing heavy on her heart. He took her hand in his, offering a gentle squeeze, then motioned for her to sign the papers. With a quiet nod, she did. His friends clapped and congratulated the couple, each one signing as a witness on the papers. Now, legally, they were husband and wife. But to the outside world, she was nothing more than a maid in his house.
I've got your love
It is a travesty when two hearts find each other despite of life's uncertainities, and although they would otherwise be perfect for each other, they can't be together as universe plays on them. Sometimes, we have to go in ur own ways to meet expectations, and to grow as a person that may lead to the sacrifice of love. In the beginning she was alive, her soul bare for this man, loved him with every fiber of her being. She was willing to give up everything that she had for him and worked hard for the future they both hoped for each other; when he still existed. She loved him but did he ever feel the same way? He was loving, caring, and kind; everything a girl could ever wish for in a man. The words destructive and inhuman would've never crossed her mind to describe her husband; or was she so stupid to see it all from the very beginning? Every day she prayed to the man above that the love and attention she constantly gave him would be enough to change such characteristic; no, flaw. But it wasn't so. Every day was a battle, getting worse and worse; that one day she just snapped. ***STRONG PLOT AND LANGUAGE*** ***UPDATE*** To my great surprise, this story has been getting more reads than I ever thought possible. I reread what I wrote once again and tried not to cringe at the many errors and awful sentence structure I had. So in the spirit of Christmas I will try to edit and perfect this story. There wouldn't be changes in the plot, just hopefully a better way of sharing my thoughts. If it's still crap, then I apologize I'm only human :) ****Complete
