The sun slowly sets behind the trees and make myself comfortable on my bed of grass. The soft breeze tickles my cheek. A loud shot echoes through the forest and I sit up immediately, slipping my dagger out of its sheath and flicking it between my fingers.
A girl who has been hiding for so long, from her family, from her village, living off scraps and foraging from the forest. She lives in a corrupted world, where people live far from equality.
