The sun slowly sets behind the trees and make myself comfortable on my bed of grass. The soft breeze tickles my cheek. A loud shot echoes through the forest and I sit up immediately, slipping my dagger out of its sheath and flicking it between my fingers.
A girl who has been hiding for so long, from her family, from her village, living off scraps and foraging from the forest. She lives in a corrupted world, where people live far from equality. She knew she was different from the start, but she never knew the truth behind it, behind her. Maybe she won't be able to fix it, but she could figure out what's happening and understand the harsh truth of it all, accompanied by powers she can't control.

Barry's life
Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued
