He took away the one feeling she really enjoyed coming from him she doesn't even know what happened to her. No trace of evidence. This doesn't change things for her the only way it would have to change is if he came back from what he pronounced about not going back but having to die for a cause. He regrets these decisions. He has to live with a burden knowing that he didn't die due to someone saving him but who? She remembers nothing but her own happiness doesn't even know what happened to her.
