This novel continues the story of Les and Hessa after the events in From Night On: Awakenings.
(Spoilers)
Les being lost in the spirit world, Hessa continues the journal of the events since the dawn of the apocalypse. With the loss of a couple friends, she is left to maneuver a hostile world as countries fall into chaos as she makes her way to where she and Les had decided to go: to find the Dalai Lama. Thankfully, she is not alone in her journey. With the help of her new friend, Yael, they manage impossible odds, but there is still so much mystery behind this new figure.
Meanwhile, Les' own entries appear to be sporadically filling in the journal on their own, but not quickly enough for Hessa to figure out where he is going or how to find him in time. Left largely on his own, he has to navigate the dangerous terrain of the spirit world. What beings can he trust and what food can he find that doesn't try to eat him, first?
Meet strange creatures buried in myth and folklore, ancient sages, vampiric demons, guardians, and gods as Les and Hessa's journeys are diverted away from each other, for now.

The Five Cursed Witches: Volume 4 - Mirai, the Witch of Sight by High_Priestess_Elena
56 parts Ongoing Mature
Mirai comes from a long line of witches who have been particularly gifted in using their inner sight. As such, she's trained her sight from a young age. She's always been a disappointment, however, as the only thing she's ever been able to see is the vague image of a girl. On her 18th birthday, Mirai discovers a mark on the back of her neck displaying the number thirty. From her first proper vision, she deduces that unless she finds the girl before the number reaches zero, both of them will die. Only being able to depend on her less than mediocre skills in seeing the future, Mirai sets out to find the girl before the time is up. Little does she know of the trauma the girl has suffered, nor that finding her is only the beginning. ---------- Mature rating due to: smut, violence, suicide (happens in the prologue while POV-character has her back turned), rape (happens in chapter 30 and will be mentions of it afterwards, fade to black, there will NOT be a trigger warning at the beginning of the specific chapter), violent death of babies, some rather bloody scenes, self-harm, extreme guilt. Note that a major part of this story focus on healing from and learning to live with trauma, so though you could potentially read it but skip some specific parts, if you're not comfortable reading something that deals with the listed topics, then this book won't be for you. ---------- This series will contain the following volumes: Volume 1 - Zoe, the witch of innocence (completed) Volume 2 - Crimson, the witch of night (completed) Volume 3 - Morana, the witch of life (completed) Volume 4 - Mirai, the witch of sight (ongoing) Volume 5 - Danae, the witch of light Volume 6 - Rheseis, the faerie of love

53 parts Complete

Scary stories of a place called a city are whispered throughout the tribes of the forest. Rumours of great grey forts with monstrous towers, sprawling walls... a place crawling with the monsters everyone so fears. Humans. --- Despite a slightly concerning size difference, Lyn and Lucius are the best of friends that share one common goal: find Lyn's family. A sudden twist in their lives thrusts the two of them into the sprawl of the human city, and achieving that goal suddenly seems impossible. When Lyn and Lucius cross paths with two strange girls, their priorities are tested. These strangers seem to be able to answer Lyn's biggest question: where does she come from? But a pressing problem must be resolved before they can show her. Who is Aspen, and why are these people so desperate to find him? --- This is the continuation to my other story called The Winged. It isn't a direct continuation, but I would recommend reading the other story first to avoid confusion. If you can suffer through it, you can find it on Search or by looking on my account :) Apologies for the incredible time it took me to write this crap. Hopefully you enjoy 🥲
