The story starts off with Hajime Hinata, a 17 year old ordinary reserve course student. Nothing interesting happened in his life until he was given the opportunity to become the ultimate hope. He took this chance of becoming the ultimate hope, but it somehow went wrong causing him to switch between himself and izuru kamakura. Dealing having him and another person in his head he meets a boy named Nagito Komeada also knows as the ultimate lucky student. How will this play out between the "reserve course student" and the ultimate lucky student?

I Hate The Reserve Course
Hinata always admired Hopes Peak Academy. He always saw it as a place where people with incredible talent deserve to go to. So when Hinata never got a letter for the Main Course, he had no choice but to join the Reserve Course. He still attends the school, so what could even become a problem? Komaeda doesn't see his talent as a real one. He knows that luck isn't something that should be considered an achievement. Compared to all of the other talented individuals he shares a class with, Komaeda sees himself as a mere nobody. He knows that there's only one group of people that he is truly better than. Hajime Hinata wasn't expecting much when he won the lottery to attend Hope's Peak Academy. The only reason he applied was so he could guarantee scholarship money to go to the same university as his childhood friend Chiaki. Being an average student, he didn't think he would make much of an impact on his classmates or even the school as a whole. However, after returning one of Gundham's Dark Deva's of Destruction, he opened the door to become one of the school's hosts in the café, or Ultimates as they're more well known. When he decides to join the Ultimate Club, he gets to know those working in the café, but there's only one person he wants to get to know better: Nagito Komaeda. Luckily, it seems Nagito wants to get to know him better, too, but Hajime is too afraid to make his move. Hopefully Nagito will be coax his way into Hajime's heart.
